Yikes, I've not written in here in two months. Sorry about that everyone ^^;; I've been very busy with my mom's chemo treatments (her last few have made her very sick). Anyway, I'm re-reading Back Roads by Tawni O'Dell at the moment. My favorite book ever <3 By next week I'll have my fanlisting for that and The Magus online <33 Yay!

..::March 5, 2004 | Wow...this is gonna be hard to read::..

I had the Magus with me at my mom's chemo treatment on Wednesday. The book is very very good so far, but god was it sad. The chapters dealing with Alison were so heartbreaking to me. I was literally in a funk for a few hours after reading them ^^; Heh, I'm still not very far into it, I'm up to ch 8 so far, mainly cause I've taken a pause after reading the Alison stuff ^^;;; Argh, Michael told me the second half of the book is tons more emotionally draining/wrenching than the first few chapters. Oi ^^;;; What have I gotten myself into...for someone who really at heart doesn't like terribly sad stuff this book may be very hard for me to read...

..::March 1, 2004 | What I read and what I'm reading now::..

Ok, sorry for not updating ^^;; I've not even updated my main blog the past month really. Anyway, I read Midnight Pleasures in February. It's a collection of novellas/short stories with a vampire romance/paranormal bend. I loved it. It had some of my favorite authors in it: Maggie Shayen, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Amanda Ashlee and also Ronda Thompson (I never read anything by her before this). It was great ^^

I actually got alot of books last month, including Sherrilyn's newest, Laurell K. Hamilton's newest (which I mentioned in my last post), Lost Souls by Poppy Z. Brite, Magic's Parn by Mercedes Lacky (this was recommended to me by Sou) and the Mangus by John Fowles which was recommended to me by Michael ^_^

I'm reading the Magus right now, and since I've been busy and not so good at reading for long periods in a row lately that will prolly be my only book for the month of March, heh ^^;; Also I'll update my books read pages and stuff sometime this week. ^^
